The rule that matters
The Roblox description says you drop everything in your inventory on death, and that the safe in your house is how you keep items. That is the storage rule to plan around. Cash you are holding is also treated by practical guides as loot for the player who downs you.
What to do
- Finish the first job payout or the $500 referral.
- Get into a house and find the safe before you buy a weapon or open a crate.
- Move rare pulls, rods, hack tools you are not using, and extra cash into that safe.
- Travel with only the tool the next task needs.
- After the Mansion Underground update, high-tier homes also have underground space and more safe storage. The fishing update notes add another item-storage utility. Use whichever safe the game lets you open. Do not carry the goods to compare them in the street.
What is older than the current map
March 2025 footage showed houses rented from a βfor rentβ mailbox for about $250, plus a workbench that repaired weapon durability. That price and the workbench were not reconfirmed for October 2026. If the mailbox prompt shows a different rent, believe the prompt.
A March 2025 combat note also said leaving during combat drops your items, while leaving a quiet server could keep them. The current official text does not offer that exception. Plan for a full inventory drop on death.
Where this fails
The pawn shop near the beach is a sell counter, not a safe. An ATM can be a deposit spot in hack guides, and it is also where people get attacked. Deposit or safe your cash before you start the minigame, then leave.
